Joseph and his wife, Heidi, have six children: Tate, Eliza Jane, Moses, Fiona, Annabel, and Peter. He graduated from Vanderbilt University with a degree in computer science and Ancient Mediterranean studies. He then studied at New Geneva Academy, graduating in 2008. In 2009 he moved with his family to Indianapolis and planted Clearnote Indy with David Abu-Sara. In 2015 he moved his family to Cincinnati, together with several others, to plant Christ Church. He preaches weekly and is always available to answer any questions you might have about God, faith, or the church.
Paul Belcher began working to help plant Christ Church during the planning stage, early in 2015. In May of the same year he moved his family here from Indianapolis to get started ministering to people on Cincinnati’s east side. He received his bachelor of divinity from New Geneva Academy in 2012 and has been working in church plants ever since. He serves Christ Church pastorally, administratively, with preaching and outreach, and leads a home fellowship group. He is married to Jessica, and they have eight children: Adali, Moses, Sydel, Max, Gwen, Titus, Abel, and Rose.
Alex has served as an assistant pastor at Christ Church since September 2019, leading worship, teaching, and administrating. Before moving to Cincinnati with his wife, Dani, and their children to help with the establishment of Christ Church, Alex directed the ministries of Clearnote Campus Fellowship at Indiana University for 5 years. He holds a degree in music from Indiana University, and received a bachelor of divinity from New Geneva Academy in 2014.
Ken is a Southwest Ohio native, born and raised in northern Warren County in between Waynesville and Springboro. He now lives in Clarksville with his wife Stephanie and the two of their seven children who still live at home. Ken was first ordained as a ruling elder in 2003 at Church of the Covenant, a PCA church in Forest Park, Ohio. He works in downtown Cincinnati as an underwriter in the property and casualty insurance industry.
Tom Thistleton has lived in the Cincinnati area with his family since 1992. He and his wife Linda have ten children and an ever increasing number of grandchildren. They currently live in Mason. Tom helped plant and served as an elder in a Reformed church for about seven years. He’s been serving as an elder at Christ Church since October 2021. He also works as a business executive and is currently the CEO of a specialty food production company based in Cleveland.
Rob Bedinghaus grew up in Mason, Ohio. He left Ohio to attend college at Taylor University, where he met his wife, Kate, who grew up in Pennsylvania. After college, Rob and Kate lived in Bloomington, Indiana, for seven years. Rob was ordained as a deacon at Trinity Reformed Church in Bloomington, just prior to moving back to the Loveland area in 2015, where he and Kate now live with their five children. Rob has been serving as a deacon at Christ Church since October of 2021. Professionally, Rob practices as a financial advisor in Lebanon.
Scott and his wife Hannah both grew up near Hillsboro, Ohio. They married in 2011 and moved to the Loveland area in January 2020, where they now live with their three children. Scott has served as a deacon at Christ Church since his ordination in October 2021. He currently works as an applications engineer for a metrology company. He once owned a furniture company where he made custom furniture.
